An unexpected gift on 1/30/07 from a master craftsman and friend, David Larson. This is a to-scale, three-dimensional model of my brain tumor at the time of diagnosis. Instead of just imagining the size of this tumor or throwing it into the high-level bucket of "lemon-sized," I can now feel it in the palm of my hand. Further, the craftsmanship applied to this model is world-class, making it all the more remarkable and thought-provoking.
