I notice that this picture shows that I do not have red eyes, just 8 days after major physical trauma. When I go back and read my personal journal entry the day before going to the hospital, I wrote about the total peace I felt. I was ready to die, even though I was 100% confident that the correct medical decisions had been made. I see evidence of that perspective in this photo.
