Nacer Amrani is one of the lab technicians who takes blood samples every two weeks to help monitor my blood levels as I go through Temodar chemotherapy. My standing order for blood checks is: a. CBC & CMP Q2 week x 1 year. This is a Complete Blood Count (CBC) and a Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP). b. Levetiracetam + 10-hydroxycarbazepine Q2 week x 1 year. This tests the levels of my anti-seizure medications (Keppra, Trileptal, and Ativan) in my body.
