When I met with my neuro-oncologist, Dr. Howard Fine, on 3/16/07, I found out that glioma patients are more at risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). When I learned this, I immediately asked to have these tests done on me. All this resulted in getting a blood workup to check for DVT. As shown, 15 viles of blood were required for this analysis.
