Dr. John Sampson being interviewed by ABC2. Dr. Sampson works at Duke Medical Center and won a 2006 Research Award from ABC2 for “Inactivation of regulatory T-cells to enhance immunotherapy against cytomegalovirus antigens in glioblastoma multiforme.” I actually heard Dr. Sampson give a presentation on this work at the 2006 Brain Tumor Awareness Day at NYU. (See 11/12/06 online journal entry.) As such, it was good to reconnect and ask more questions about his research, which is now going into Phase III Clinical Trial.
