<<<previous   next>>> My Dad and I had the honor of meeting Col. Mel Rosen at an MIT conference about brain cancer. We discovered over lunch that Col. Rosen and my Dad held the exact same Army position, 38 years apart. Each was the Executive Officer of the 1st Battalion, 38th Field Artillery. My Dad held this position in Korea, and Col. Rosen held this position when it was still based in Ft. Lewis, WA. Col. Rosen is also a heroic survivor of the Bataan Death March in WWII. close window
