| I did not notice this until 3 months after surgery, but the "vertical scar" from my 12/10/04 brain biopsy no longer "lined up" after my 5/5/05 brain surgery. Before 5/5/05, the vertical elements in this picture formed a single straight line. However, the operation on 5/5/05 cut that vertical line in half, and when I was stapled shut 8 hours later, the vertical lines got shifted by about ¾ of an inch. No big deal, but fascinating. I guess there is a lot of "play" when it comes to skin. |
