Springfield Youth Club soccer, 1980. Doug Rutherford is just to the right of the goalie in black. Doug is a long-time friend, and I credit him for getting me involved in two of the most memorable events in my life, marching with the Garfield Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps and co-founding Rivermine Software. I would not have done either without him.
